ACCURATE
Robust calibration-compensates for perspective
distortions. Compensates for part orientation.
High resolution, 640x480x8-bit Subpixel accuracy--most
algorithms return sub-pixel results to easily
achieve 1/4 to 1/10 pixel. Built-in Optical Character
Recognition identifies characters when it is not
known which characters will appear.

DESCRIPTION
Powervision is a high-resolution, gray scale
vision system featuring advanced imaging, processing,
analysis, and graphical tools to meet the most demanding
industrial inspection applications. The Acuity Power
Pipeline Board significantly speeds up inspection
rates. Plug-in expansion allows multiple cameras,
motion control, and more. Industrial enclos- ures
and rack and panel mount options allow for simplified
factory floor deployment. Powervision supports on-line
gauging, asse- mbly verification, and machine guidance
tasks by providing a versatile selection of menu-
driven, high speed tools. An extensive library of
analysis algorithms and measurements are used to
assure quality and control processes at speeds up
to 1,800 parts/minute with accu- racy to 0.0001"
256 level gray scale subpixel processing means accurate
and repeatable performance even with variations
in part posi- tion, orientation, finish, or lighting.
Powervision also performs Optical Character Recognition.
The system is font-independent-fonts can be "trained"
to create completely new fonts or to improve performance.
Inspection results are communicated to exter- nal
devices using standard communications protocols. |
